It was a fantastic whale watching. Guide Alex from Greece knew exceptionally lots of information about whales and each individual we could see. During the tour we were lucky enough to meet 4 whales, 1 of which was sleeping and 1 even jumped out of the water. The ship was big, beautiful, had enough space for the whole group. It was a wooden ship but it had an diesel engine. So it is not fully authentic as it might seem. However the sails were raised in the middle of the tour. The crew was very friendly, hot choco with rum and cinnamon bread were very tasty. As for the t° - scarf, gloves or 3 layers of clothes were unnecessary in August as there was not much wind. But that might be weather dependent.

Only 4 star because was really excited to have the sails down like in the photo displayed. They were all up. Apart from that, the crew were AMAZING! Was so happy to reach the areas where the Whales were. We over ran our time - saw 3 humpbacks and 1 blue whale. I do think there were too many visitors though, as was quite difficult moving around. The hot chocolate with Rum and cake was a nice finish. Thank you for the experience! Weather was good too, with a little drizzle

Great experience and saw many dolphins and whales, including two whales that jumped into the sky and dived back in close to our boat. This is apparently a very rare event, so don't expect that. There are many whales to see though. Upon arrival we were offered an earlier boat. The boat may be smaller but has a second and third deck which made whale watching better to be honest. We were lucky to have great warm weather where we didn't wear the warm overalls they provided. I would recommend the North Sailing company.
