Great experience and saw many dolphins and whales, including two whales that jumped into the sky and dived back in close to our boat. This is apparently a very rare event, so don't expect that. There are many whales to see though. Upon arrival we were offered an earlier boat. The boat may be smaller but has a second and third deck which made whale watching better to be honest. We were lucky to have great warm weather where we didn't wear the warm overalls they provided. I would recommend the North Sailing company.

Highly Recommended! From making contact in advance to boarding and the tour itself, everything was great! We had the best weather, were able to watch at least four different whales, puffins and dolphins and felt wonderfully cared for. The whole thing on board a beautifully restored wooden sailboat with a fantastic crew - we are still thrilled! The crew was able to explain everything perfectly and was really great with the guests. We particularly liked that the whales were not “hunted”, but that the ship was always carefully steered with foresight. Unfortunately, we were able to observe this differently with ships from other providers. We can warmly recommend North Sailing!

It was too windy to sail, so they suppressed our tour. But in two minutes they solved the problem offering a motorized boat. In 3 hours around the bay we saw at least 10 times humpbacks and one bottlenose whale, in at least 5 different places. We saw hundred of puffins and several murres, one skua, a lot of arctic terns and fulmars, a pair of razorbills. Crew and guides were very kind and professional. Wonderful experience! Thanks to the teachings we could ketch and recognize several other whales by the cliffs during the following days (Snaefell). Chris and Viola
