What people are saying about Husavik

Literally everything was excellent!! Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable (I can’t remember her name but she is from Germany) and knew a few languages or enough to speak a little to all the people on the boat! The boat was spacious and not to crowded to where we couldn’t see. The coveralls that we’re provided we’re nice and warm and the hot chocolate and donuts provided at the end of the experience hit the spot! The boat captain was great about getting us into great position to see all the action and making the boat ride smooth and enjoyable. Thanks for an unforgettable experience!

We were there in August. It's cold out on the water regardless of the temperature on shore. We saw whales 6 or 8 times. Be quick if you expect to take a photo. Get an out side or front seat if you can otherwise you have people jumping up in front or along side of you that block your view. The Captain and the guide knew exactly where to go to find the whales and how to anticipate their next breach.

The trip was nice, we enjoyed it, We had the chance to spot only 1 whale, but we consider ourselves lucky. We would appreciate maybe more talking, info, interesting information from Icelandic life while from the guide. It was 3 hour boat ride and the most of the time we were just sailing and not seeing anything, I guess it would be more entertaining.

The boat is big enough for everyone to have a good view when whales are spotted. The coveralls provided are easy to put on and keep you nice and warm. Still need a warm hat and gloves. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. The hot chocolate and donut at the end is very nice.

Whale sightings were phenomenal - sea was rough.

Really enjoyed the tour. Shame about the weather as it was rough. Having said that the Humpback Whale activity was incredible. They were really close to the boat at times.
