    Take a day excursion from Hurghada to see some of Egypt's finest historic sites in the Luxor Valley. Benefit from complimentary pickup and drop-off and the services of an Egyptologist guide as you explore some of the most important landmarks of Ancient Egypt.

    After pickup from your hotel, drive to Luxor to visit the most famous monuments in Egypt, including the Temple of Karnak. Relax over lunch at a local restaurant, then board a typical Felucca boat to cross the Nile to the City of the Dead (optional). See the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the last remnants of the Temple of Amenophis III. Be enthralled by the architecture of the Valley of the Kings, and visit the temple of Hatshepsut, one of the female rulers of Ancient Egypt.

    • Pickup is available from hotels in Hurghada, Sahl Hasheesh, and Makadi. Pickup and drop-off from hotels in Al Ahyaa, El Gouna, Soma Bay, and Safaga are available for an additional fee
    • The journey from Hurghada to Luxor is 5 hours by minibus with multiple check-points. It is recommended that you bring a book or prepare some music with you for the long ride
    • There will be plenty of snacks and water on the minibus
    • Please provide your hotel room number as this is required by the Egyptian government regarding the COVID-19 protocol. If you do not yet know please put N/A and let the local partner know via email or Whatsapp once you do
    • If you are staying in an apartment or villa, you should send the activity provider the nearest hotel from you

    My partner and I booked this trip for our holiday to Hurghada and were really impressed. We were picked up from the hotel around 4:45am by our guide Nana who stayed with us the whole day. Nana made our experience even better, giving us water through the day and giving us advice. Her English was faultless and knowledge of Egypt and Luxor was great - she was an amazing tour guide. The trip overall was amazing and really great value for money. Luxor, Karnak Temple, The Valley of the Kings etc were amazing and a must see when staying in Hurghada. Although it was a 5 hour journey there and back and a very long 17 hour day, it was really worth it to see these sights and I would definitely recommend it. If you struggle with heat I’d recommend going in cooler months such as earlier in the year.

    This was a long journey but very much worth it. The guides were great and very patient. They constantly provided us with water from place to place. Be prepared for a long ride there and back and bring plenty of sunscreen and a hat. It gets very hot in the summer. Worth the price.

    - If you paid to go into the Tomb.. Make sure you can show it on your phone or print it out. We paid but was not on the list to get inside. Good thing I was able to open the app and show that we paid for this entrance. - If you want souvenirs, make sure you get them even when the tour guide says don't do it.. she will say you will go somewhere later for actual souvenirs where you can negotiate the prices. FALSE. You will end up going to an Alabaster House.. where though it's nice.. it's overpriced and that's all they have.. stones. Which you can get elsewhere for much much better price. Go to any other store and bang their products around.. it won't break. Glad we did not buy anything, I later found what I wanted to purchase for much much cheaper prices. But I wish I bought souvenirs through the shops we passed by. - Lunch was meh. Was not bad but was not anything special or local. - I wish we stopped for photos across the street where we got on the boat. It is also a must see but we d
