Full description
Take a day excursion from Hurghada to see some of Egypt's finest historic sites in the Luxor Valley. Benefit from complimentary pickup and drop-off and the services of an Egyptologist guide as you explore some of the most important landmarks of Ancient Egypt.
After pickup from your hotel, drive to Luxor to visit the most famous monuments in Egypt, including the Temple of Karnak. Relax over lunch at a local restaurant, then board a typical Felucca boat to cross the Nile to the City of the Dead (optional).
See the impressive Colossi of Memnon, the last remnants of the Temple of Amenophis III. Be enthralled by the architecture of the Valley of the Kings, and visit the temple of Hatshepsut, one of the female rulers of Ancient Egypt.

- Pickup is available from hotels in Hurghada, Sahl Hasheesh, and Makadi. Pickup and drop-off from hotels in Al Ahyaa, El Gouna, Soma Bay, and Safaga are available for an additional fee.
- The journey from Hurghada to Luxor is around 5 hours by minibus. It is recommended that you bring a book or prepare some music with you for the long ride.
- Please provide your hotel room number as this is required by the Egyptian government regarding the COVID-19 protocol. If you do not yet know please put N/A and let the local partner know via email or Whatsapp once you do.
- If you are staying in an apartment or villa, you should send the activity provider to the nearest hotel to you.
