Hurghada: Sunset Desert Safari by Dune Buggy

I really enjoyed the dune buggy trip, it was amazing, I would highly recommend this service. The buggy is very easy to operate and steering is easy. This is completely different to the quad bikes, which we previously did and just as thrilling. We got to visit the Bedouin camp, were we got to meet the people who live there and also got to ride on a camel, and see their water well. There is also an optional snake snow. Then they cooked us a lovely meal and also gave us the choose of doing shisha, in the dessert with tea. We then rode back on the buggy. If your looking to try something new or want something that will get your heart racing, this is the trip for you. The service was excellent and the operator is very helpful. Arrived on time for pick up, and speaks several languages. If you’re looking to do other activities also (island trips, scuba diving, etc), this is the excursion company to use, as they don’t waste your time by not showing up like the other company did.

We were well looked after and the team made sure we had scarves (£2 each) and goggles (hired) to protect us from the dust. After a practice run we set off into the desert and what an amazing experience. Driving into the Bedouin camp was special and our guide took his time explaining everything g clearly. A small trek up the slope to a lovely view, an optional camel ride and refreshments we were ready to set off again to stop for a meal a little while later. Then off again across the desert in our buggies, to watch the sun set. Our team kept a watchful eye on us at all times and we were well looked after. An amazing experience which we wanted to repeat if we had the time. Great value for money and a humbling experience.
