Discover the “City of a Thousand Minarets” on a full-day tour of Cairo, with round-trip transfers by bus from Hurghada. Relax in air-conditioned comfort on the long journey, admiring views of the Gulf of Suez.

Upon arrival, your private Egyptologist guide will take you to Giza Plateau to see the oldest of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Get breathtaking views of the Pyramids of Giza as you explore the mortuary temples of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus.

Learn the story of how the temples were constructed and hear the stories behind their legends. Continue to the Great Sphinx, the giant statue of a reclining mythical beast with a lion’s body and the face of the Pharaoh Khafre.

Go to the Valley Temple opposite, attributed to the Pharaoh Khafre, and marvel at the feat of ancient engineering. After lunch, drive into central Cairo to explore the artifacts of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square.

Designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the museum’s collections exceed 120,000 masterpieces from the pre-dynastic to the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. Learn about the mummification art of Ancient Egypt before your return transfer to Hurghada.

Thank you to our guide "Zizou" for teaching us so much during this day. The visits to the museum and the pyramids were enriching for me. The midday meal with Egyptian dishes was delicious, nothing to say except thank you for this choice! We also took advantage of a ride on the Nile, very appreciable with explanations of the houses. I recommend this excursion.

Our excursion was absolutely perfect! Our tour guide Rasha was just a sweetheart. With her manner and her knowledge, she enriched the tour and also helped us to get through the jungle of pushy sellers. The pyramids were of course the absolute highlight and could hardly be put into words. You just have to see it once. You also have the opportunity to go into the pyramids on site. The Egyptian Museum is very interesting, albeit showing its age. There, of course, TutAnchAmun's mask was the highlight. We were also in a house / shop for essences. Even if the owners want to sell on site, of course, they are very friendly and hospitable. There was tea and coffee specialties. The food in the buffet restaurant was delicious too. Our driver Mustafa was also great. He had kept control through the traffic madness in Cairo the whole time and brought us back “home” safely.

It was clear from the start that it would be a tough day. You have to take into account a total of 14 hours on the bus for the return journey. But it's worth it and is unrivaled when it comes to price-performance comparison. You should plan an extensive massage for the next day to get the stressed limbs back into shape. All in all, an impressive day that brought you a little closer to this wonder of the world and the people it loves.
