Hello, great trip! We were faster than expected, our tour guide Ahmed was very informative, extremely courteous and helpful with any request! He also helped us with photo opportunities. Lunch was good, our personal highlight: the pyramids of Giza with a camel ride we wanted for about € 9 pp. LG

The trip started with a visit to the Cairo museum, then lunch and afterwards the pyramids and the sphinx. Our English guide was very nice and explained a lot of things in the museum and even took photos of us at the pyramids. The food was good and we received complimentary bottles of cold water beforehand. Around lunch there is a trip on the Nile which costs extra - you don’t get to see much but it’s quite refreshing so we didn’t regret it. The things that I could have lived without were the trip to the papyrus museum and the oil shop. The upside is they also count as rest stops and are quite clean. The downside is you get pressured into buying something. Of course you can negotiate a better price for yourself, but the starting prices are ridiculous - at least in my opinion. All in all it was a good (and very tiresome) trip and we got to see the PYRAMIDS. A few tips: bring a sweater for the bus, because it’s air conditioned. You can leave stuff on the bus if you need to.

It was a great trip. The tour guide and assistant were very nice. However, I want to warn you. Every opportunity is tried to sell you God knows something. But this is the case in all of Egypt. During the trip you are taken to a "papyrus museum" and at the end a perfume shop. And other questions are also asked a million times. In addition, the bus toilet was locked (too lazy to clean it yourself, therefore only one possibility to go to the toilet on a 6-hour drive) with the attitude of often having to say no thanks or ignoring offers. It was still worth it. However, know what you really want and do not be lulled!
