Begin your day with a morning pickup and head out to your first stop. Pass by the Rockpile, Khe Sanh Combat Base, and villages before reaching Ta Con Airbase. Upon arriving, learn about the devastating battle that occurred here, where both Vietnamese and American troops suffered incredible losses.  At around 12:30 PM move onward for lunch in Dong Ha City for some local fare. Afterward, visit Hien Luong Bridge, which marks the 17th parallel that connected the former North and South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. This place remains a painful symbol of the nation’s division and the Vietnamese’ everlasting desire for peace, national independence, and reunification. The final stop of your day tour is the Vinh Moc Tunnels. Be shocked to see how an entire village could survive and live underground to keep shelter from intense bombing. The tunnels were not only for hiding from attacks but also served as a place for schooling, cooking, relaxing, and political discussions.
