What to Expect
Visit the monument complex in Hue and see many of the other highlights of this historical city on a full-day guided tour.
Start out in the morning at Dong Ba Market where you’ll see the range of products on offer and the interactions of locals buying and selling goods. Follow this with a boat trip to the Thien Mu pagoda, the oldest temple in Hue.
Your guide will take you on a tour of the Imperial Citadel, home to the Nguyen dynasty (1802-1945), which was the last of Vietnam’s royal dynasties. You’ll have a chance to see objects from the Nguyen dynasty at the Hue Royal Antiques Museum as well.
After the morning tour you’ll take a break for lunch at local restaurant before visiting the incense stick village. Later you’ll see Tu Duc and Khai Dinh tombs, and meet Mrs. Thuy, a local artisan who makes conical hats with 1 hand!
