Photo+Tour HK: With You in Frame, A Deep Dive into Hong Kong

Hi there! I am Ashley J (“memorytxture”), a multimedia artist based in Hong Kong. I am dedicated to presenting you with a unique cultural experience through a tailored tour and a professional portrait photoshoot.

My availabilities in general:
Tuesday to Saturday: 18:30 - 22:00 [evening - nighttime]
Sunday: 15:00 - 22:00
Monday: 10:00 - 22:00

What we will do to make your tour an unforgettable experience:

1. Discuss the route/place: whether you are into street food, urban exploration, hiking, modern art, tech, or anything else, just message me and I can help you design a unique route. I can explain everything you want to know, from the Chinese calligraphy style to traditional local worship.

2. Discuss the styles of the photos: whether you like color photos or black and white photos, natural or more stylish photos, just let me know.

3. Now, let's enjoy the tour and I'll take photos of you!

If you don't have any preference, it's perfectly fine as well! Let me take you to the most popular and most remarkable places like Central / Sheung Wan in Hong Kong Island or Mong Kok / Yau Ma Tei (near Temple Street) / Sham Shui Po in Kowloon.

More about me:
I am a writer, translator, photographer, art enthusiast, hardcore lover of Hong Kong, and researcher in Hong Kong Cultural Heritage (i.e. from street food to cuisines, from religions to traditional festivals, etc.) and East Asian culture. I have been living in Hong Kong for 11 years and my local friends always say that I know HK better than them, as I put a lot of effort into learning the local language Cantonese & all the local knowledge here. I am super easy to talk with and will really want to discuss with you & know your preference before the photoshoot to suit your needs.

I have been making genuine friends all over the world through doing tours and photography. I can't wait to meet up with you and share the stories of this city!

*** Important Notes***
1. For photo delivery, I will send you the download link of the photos in 3-5 days.
2. I do both digital and film photography. There is an add-on choice of film photography (HKD$250 per roll, one roll includes 32 photos). Film photography has a unique color and texture which is especially suitable for Hong Kong night views, i.e. neons, illuminated streets.
>> Also, film negatives are always such a unique souvenir that you can hold and take back with you. If you are in HK for a few days, you can pick up the film negatives by yourself!
3. Don't hesitate to contact me even if your time is tight, the time can be very flexible, from half an hour to a couple of days!
