Versailles is wonderful, but people should not queue that long.

Solutions should be found to ease the public's access to the site, plus one would need more toilets and cafeterias/resting places. It's been an interesting visit, though very tiring. Essential information is not provided to visitors to know what they can expect. Very poor information system, especially before the entrance.

Good overall - the food probably not instantly recognisable to western palates but give it a go - lots of noodle style food as you might expect and enjoyable. I was able to shower and change - again good shower facilities but be sure to book if it is busy - 20 minute allocation per person tho. There was a quiet sitting area but sofa or lie flat area so you won’t get chance for any proper sleep. There are 2 or 3 lounges and not all open at the same time so you may have to walk a fair distance if you find one closed as I did but it killed some time as I had 8 hrs plus in HK.

The opening times make the difference! Hello everyone- there are 3 lounges in Hong Kong. We wanted to fly on to New Zealand - gate 1 could not be reached because it is outside the check-in / transfer area. Gate 35 is only open from 7pm to 8am. Gate 60 opens at 12am (I don't know when it closes). Accidentally booked for gate 35 - landed at 8am, departed at 17pm. At 12 we were still allowed to go to the gate 60 lounge (don't know if that's standard). Food okay, sofas okay, but there are only a few sofas/armchairs - more tables and chairs.
