Meet your guide in the morning and take a seat in an air-conditioned minivan. Then, set off into the countryside toward the Normandy coast where scenic ports atop natural attractions await. First, visit Honfleur, which is widely considered the most charming of all Normandy port towns. Explore winding cobbled streets made famous by Impressionist painters such as Eugène Boudin and take in top sites of interest including the bell tower, old port and Sainte Catherine Square. Head onward along the Côte Fleurie and admire the same panoramic views over the French coastline once enjoyed by Claude Monet. Visit the former fishing villages of Trouville and Deauville, which are quaint seaside resorts where traditional houses meet open stretches of sandy beach. When your time on the Côte Fleurie comes to an end, admire fine views over Normandy’s chalk and clay cliffs en route back to Paris.
Your day trip begins with a pick-up from your hotel or apartment in Paris for the drive (about 4 hours) to Mont St. Michel. On board the spacious minibus, you will have access to Wi-Fi and educational tablets to prepare you for your visit. Your driver-guide will also be available for any questions you may have. UNESCO listed Mont St. Michel is known for its striking perch on a tiny rock island off the coast of Normandy. On top of the island stands a medieval abbey, where you can admire views of the bay. Accompanied by your guide, stroll through the steep, narrow streets of the village and perhaps tasting some local specialties at the bakery (at own expense). In the afternoon, continue your day tour to the town of Honfleur, where you can explore the cobblestone streets and enjoy the harbor setting, a source of inspiration for painters like Claude Monet. Check out sights like the Old Por...
