Visit Coxen Hole, the capital city, and drive to French Harbor, the largest fishing town on Roatan and the location of some of the best seafood restaurants. One of the most interesting sites on the east side of the island is the Iguana Farm. It’s home to at least 3,000 iguanas, as well as monkeys, tarpon fish, turtles, lobsters, conch, and a lot more marine life (entrance fee of USD 8.00 not included). As the ride continues, you’ll make a stop in the middle of the island, where you’ll take in views of both sides of the island at the same time. Take a drive through Garifuna town to see local life and hear about the traditions and culture. Next, you’ll head to Oak Ridge and enjoy a boat ride through the village, which is built over the water. Your guide will be with you for the entire day.
