The price of the transportation is only from Chiquila to the Cancun airport terminal 2 domestic; ferry tickets are not included in our price. You can get your ferry tickets in Holbox. For the comfort and safety of all our passengers, we regret to inform you that we cannot accommodate pets on our shared service. We will meet on the beach, from there, we will head out on the kayaks and we begin to move away from the noise and lights of the town centre. It’s a short and easy paddle (no experience needed). As we quickly begin to feel the immensity of the sky and the sea around us. We will star gaze, looking for constellations, clusters and galaxies. If we are lucky, we may spot a shooting star! As we continue on into the sea, we begin to see a different brightness, caused by an algae bloom of plankton the sea now glows as we begin to experience the Bioluminescence phenomenon up close. At the sand bank we can get out of the kayak and take a moment to enjoy the grandeur that surrounds us as we stand before the universe in its wonder.

Venture to the heart of the island in our unique flamingo design kayaks. We advance approximately 2 km between the sandbanks and the beach, until we reach the entrance of the Kuká River, right where the protected area begins. We enter the river, along the way we can find region birds such as: ospreys, cormorants, frigates, shorebirds, herons, etc. Migratory birds (depending on the season, in winter we can see more species) such as: flamingos (May-December), white pelicans, Mexican tiger heron, shorebirds, etc. As guides, we know the feeding and resting points of some species of birds, as well as the crocodiles that live there (they are not aggressive, we respect the distance and their space). Inside the river we can see 3 types of mangroves that make up the ecosystem. The landscape inside the river is unique and relaxing, you connect with nature. At a point where we can stop inside the river, we will have a snack and then continue. At some point during the tour, when we don’t affect the species due to noise, we will talk to you about our natural protected area and he’s ecosystems and wath we have seen. Do not hesitate to ask us, we try to give an answer based on what we have learned in our training. And remember, all species are found in their natural habitat, not in a zoo, so what we see is different every day, we will appreciate what nature allows us. It is also important that you know that paddling could be sometimes difficult due to the current in the river, high tide, waves or wind; The weather is very unpredictable on an island, it isn’t in our hands to control it, so we must be prepared for any change in weather conditions during the tour. In advance, due to any forecast of bad weather or storms, the maritime authority notifies us and we cancel activities, we will let you know if that happens. You need take the ferry from Holbox one Hour Before Our departure time we ask you to be at the meeting point 10 minutes before departure time, of you don't get on time we will not be able to wait for you
