What people are saying about Hokitika

Really accessible for older not quite so mobile people. No steps if you don't choose to go up the tower. The buggy cart dropped us off at the start to avoid the slightly uphill walk to the start where we walked straight onto the walkway. No steps. For the return we walked back but you can choose to have the buggy pick you up. Awesome staff. Fantastic feeling being up there in the treetops. Take as long or as little time as you want. Can really recommend the experience. Enjoyed a nice relaxing coffee at the cafe afterwards.

Simply being up in the treetops was amazing...quite a different experience. We didn't see many birds - I had high hopes that some I'd not ever seen in the flesh would co-operate with the flawless weather, my expectations and the literature...perhaps a time other than midday sun would have worked better? We will bring friends for a viewing: maybe evening o later afternoon?

Very relaxing view but my wife scared in heights haha. Very nice food also that we have enjoyed with the family. Thanks

Easy to find and suitable for all ages, was a wet day for our visit but still quite a wonderful experience.

We loved it. Amazing perspective being above the canopy, beautifully laid out - and learnt so much!
