What to Expect
At 8.00 the guide will pick you up from the hotel and leave Hoi An for My Son – the ruins of an imperial city during the Cham dynasty. Here you can have the chance to explore the complex of more than 65 architectural works and learn about how the Cham people made bricks to build the towers. The Cham architecture in My Son was designated a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Site in 1999. You also have the chance to enjoy traditional music performed by Cham girls in traditional attire.
In the afternoon, you will explore the city of Hoi An on foot. The historic town used to be a prosperous harbour city from the 16th to 18th Century and is now a beautiful city that can’t be missed while touring South East Asia. While walking through the city, you will visit Hoi An’s colorful local market, Tan Ky House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Travelers can also see local residents farm silkworms and produce silk.
