Full description
Begin your shared or private day trip with a visit to the capital and religious center of the former Champa Kingdom, My Son, which has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Beautifully situated in a lush green valley, there are dozens of red brick towers and sanctuaries dating from between the 7th and 13th century. After this first part of the tour, you will have lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, you will discover Marble Mountain (Ngu Hanh Son, meaning 'five elements mountain'). Here, you will have the opportunity to explore the stunning natural caves of the mountain and enjoy the beautiful view from the peak. Stone steps carved into the mountain lead to a Buddhist pagoda. Da Nang is famous for three pagodas having the same name: 'Linh Ung', the first on Son Tra Peninsula, the second on Marble Mountain and the other on Ba Na Hill. The Linh Ung Pagoda at Marble Mountain has been designated a national historical and cultural site by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. You will also visit Am Phu cave where there is a replica of heaven and hell in the eerie underground tunnels, before you return to your hotel.

Vinh was a great guide, he explained great details from Vietnamese culture and from My Son and the marble mountains. No rushes. The meal was great and the ride very calm with a private car. Vinh was helpful and also gave us some freedom to see the beautiful spots we were in!

The tour is worth doing. My son is incredible but very busy, there is 2 dancing/singing shows on site. In the marble mountains we've seen 2 wonderful caves with temples in it. The guide has a good level of English and was friendly, however he didn't give much explanations on sites and we had to ask a lot of questions with no precise answers at times.

excellent tour! we were in a group of 4, so had a private car which was perfect as it was a mega hot day, so a nice cool air conditioned car to take us everywhere was handy! The tour was brilliant, tailored perfectly and our guide was sweet, funny and very knowledgable about all three sites we visited. I would say a must for anyone. but, if you can, go when its cooler as it was around 40 degrees today and it can get very uncomfortable! 5 stars!
