This short walking takes you to several main spots in Hoi An. Have an overview of this charming town, see the daily local life and try some special dishes.
What to Expect
Hoi An is a charming little port town dating from 15th century. Back in the old days, merchants from China, Japan and Europe came to Hoi An for trading and left many influences on the town. The name "Hoi An" originally means “a peaceful meeting place”.
Nowadays, Hoi An is actually a living museum of culture, history and charm with many ancients houses, temples, small lanes and moss-grown walls around the town. You will start discovering the most exotic & must-see corners of this beautiful area.
Your tour guide will meet you at the centrally located office. You will then take a walk around the town, with first stop at Japanese Covered Bridge - a special structure built in the late 16th century with roof and a small temple in the northern side. Then you will have a look at the over-200-year-old Tan Ky house, the fascinating Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, and stop for awhile at the central market to see how the real local life goes.
After all the visits, you stop at a special local restaurant to enjoy the truly authentic Hoi An food. Then you will get back to the starting point.
