See the Vietnam countryside from the perspective of a local in this free bicycle tour in Hoi An. Show up with a bike and allow your guide to lead you to nearby villages where you will see stunning rural scenes and observe the locals.
What to Expect
Explore the countryside surrounding Hoi An on a free half-day bicycle tour to neighboring villages. Choose from Kim Bong Village, Tra Que Vegetable Village, or Cam Thanh Water Coconut Palm Village, and spend your morning riding around and observing how the locals live.
Your tour is led by local university students who volunteer for the opportunity. In this cultural exchange, they will have the chance to practice English language skills while you will gain insight that isn't available in tourist guides. Meet at the designated point at 8:30 with your rented bike and prepare to spend the next four hours seeing rice paddies, fishing villages, fields of water buffalo, and more.
Option 1: Kim Bong
Visit Kim Bong, a carpentry village, and observe a boat-making workshop. Travel to the market at Cam Kim. Then head to Duy Vinh, where the locals make sleeping mats. See a rice paper factory, check out a tropical fruit garden and ride by rice fields.
