What to Expect
LifeStart Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization created to help disadvantaged people in Hoi An become self-sufficient. Joining this tour gives you the opportunity to contribute to the work of the Foundation and to meet workshop members.
Choose a morning or afternoon departure for this half-day tour. Start off with a traditional painting class and learn the technique of making beautiful hand-painted cards.
You’ll meet workshop members, who will explain the purposes and activities of the Foundation. They’ll provide insights on the making of other traditional products as well.
Next on this cultural experience is a Hoi An lantern-making class. You’ll learn how to make one of these traditional lanterns and leave the workshop with your hand-made lantern and painted cards.
