One of the most stunning sights to see in Hoi An area is My Son, Viet Nam’s most important site of the ancient kingdom of Champa. Located in the heart of a beautiful valley and surrounded by high mountain ranges, My Son was named a Cultural Heritage site by UNESCO in 1999. This is graphically illustrated by the remains of a series of impressive tower-temples located in a dramatic site that was the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom for most of its existence

Morning is the ideal time to explore the hidden passageways and winding alleys of Hoi An. Meet at the local tour provider's shop at #21 Hai Ba Trung Street. Walk 20 meters up the small alleyway and you’ll see it on your left behind the green gates. Your guide will fit your bike, give a safety briefing and provide an overview of the tour. Have the chance to photograph the iconic Japanese Bridge in the historic district. Crossing the canal bridge first near the night market, continue to the new metal bike bridge connecting Hoi An proper and its southern villages of Quang Nam Province. Not far from the bridge, visit a local family making Banh Beo using the traditional method. These small, savory rice flour bowls are a common breakfast staple in the countryside. Continue riding to one of Hoi An's most beautiful villages, stopping at a family home to learn about the tradition of family chapels. Your host is nearly 90-years-old and vividly remembers his experiences during the American War. Pedal past rice fields and vegetable farms along small canals and waterways towards a wooden boat building site. Fishing is still the lifeblood of the province and the construction of these ships is quite amazing to witness and photograph. If the timing is right, you'll also see families gathering to clean fishing nets between journeys at sea. The roads narrow again to concrete paths and your final stops will include a traditional mat weaving shop and a family distillery, where rice wine has been produced in the same manner for generations. Of course, samples for a tasting will be provided. A short ride from here, you will board a local ferry for a trip back to town. Have your cameras ready for great views of the Hoi An waterfront. Once dockside, it's a short 5 minute ride through alleyways back to the local tour provider's shop. 

Visit Tra Que vegetable village where you will feel the green with a distinct aroma of local varieties of vegetables. See the farmers grow, water, and fertilize vegetables . Travel to Cam Thanh eco village. Contemplate the beauty of the countryside in Vietnam, have photo opportunities of the rice paddies, and sumptuous landscapes, and sightseeing some special animals on the Vietnam rice fields such as cows, storks, and water buffalos. Move on to the water coconut forest (the Nipa forest). Ride through the coconut palm jungle and have a chance to row basket boats with the locals. 8:00 We'll pick you up from your hotel in Hoi An or in Da Nang at the indicated time to head towards the famous Marble Mountains. Once at our destination, we will get out of the vehicle and begin to walk the trails that ascend these Vietnamese hills. Do you know why they receive this peculiar name? We'll find out during the tour! Along the way, we will enter different caves to discover their secrets. The holes in the rock give these caves a very special, almost mystical lighting. In addition, we will visit the Linh Ung pagoda, from where we will get spectacular views of the coast of Da Nang . - After visiting the Marble Mountains, we will go to the Monkey Mountain to see one of the most impressive pagodas in the area. At its top we will see the Linh Ung pagoda, built during the 18th century and which houses a 67-meter white statue of the Goddess of Mercy. It is the tallest Buddhist sculpture in Vietnam! Finally, we will take you back to your hotel and we will end the tour after four hours of travel.

First up is a drive past the old town to Cam Nam Island where you’ll visit some local houses and places where people live and work traditional lives. You'll first visit a local ship repair yard to experience the hard work involved in maintaining a local fishing boat. This stop represents the special connection Hoi An people have with the ocean and river and you’ll learn about daily life both on and off the water. Next on the agenda is a short drive through a local village and beautiful countryside, before visiting a traditional lantern marker and a unique and creative outdoor gym of local people. Also included is a stop at an ancestor house where guests can learn more about the belief system in Vietnam and the importance of family. You’ll then continue on to your friends at the local shoemaker, the funniest stop en route where you’ll get to interact with a jolly bunch of shoemakers and learn about the ancient tradition of tailoring and shoemaking in Hoi An. Before having a short break at a stall overlooking Hoi An Ancient Town and the Thu Bon River, you'll visit a rice cracker place to observe the traditional cracker making process as well as have a taste of the yummy end-product. During the riverside break stop, you will meet one of the trainee chefs from the NGO partner, Streets International, who will bring along some delicious bread for you to sample whilst you spend some time chatting with him about the project. Afterwards, on the drive through the countryside, you’ll experience up close the resplendent beauty of the rice paddies, grazing buffalo and monkey bridges (the local nickname for unique bamboo bridges so thin that it is joked that only monkeys can cross them!), all of which are guaranteed to provide plenty of perfect photo opportunities. You’ll cruise on to Tra Que Village, a beautiful herb and vegetable garden which supplies many of the restaurants in the ancient town. Here you’ll learn about the herbs and spices that give distinct flavor to local dishes, and the hard work that goes into growing them. At the end of the tour, guests can unwind at a stunning beach lounge overlooking one of the best beaches in Vietnam, An Bang Beach, with a refreshing drink.
