Explore Reynisfjara black sand beach with the glorious Reynisdrangar peaks and visit the basalt column cave before reaching your accommodation for the night. Day 2: Vik, Skaftafell, and Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon After breakfast at your hotel, journey further south towards the charming village of Vik. Make a stop at the unique and photogenic black sand beach of Reynisfjara. After visiting Vik, make your way to the famous Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon with its floating icebergs. The nearby Diamond beach is also on today's agenda. See icebergs that have washed ashore glistening like diamonds on the black sand beach, leaving you feeling like you just stepped into a movie scene. Your accommodation for the night will be in the South East area. Day 3: East Fjords Today is all about exploring the East Fjords of Iceland. We'll be stopping at Djupivogur fishing village. Afterwards we'll be spending the day in an authentic live history in the Wilderness Center that offers various activities, such as hiking, biking, horse riding as well as provides accommodation, restaurant and spa services. We'll be finishing the day soaking in a hot spring spa in the authentic bathhouse made from stones. Day 4: Studlagil Canyon, Myvatn, and Akureyri Drive through the wilderness of Modrudalur to make your way to the capital of the North, Akureyri. Today's highlights include a visit to Lake Myvatn, where you can enjoy a relaxing bath in the hot spring pools of Myvatn Nature Baths. Finally, see the dreamy Godafoss waterfall. Your accommodation for the night will be at a country hotel near Akureyri.  Day 5: Whale Watching, Siglufjordur, and Trollaskagi The day starts for a whale-watching adventure. After your adventure at sea, we drive through the fishing village of Siglufjordur, which is a charming village rich in history, and the Trollaskagi peninsula, with some of the best ocean scenery you will see. Make your way to your accommodation for the night in the Northwest area.   Day 6: Visit the West Iceland region The day begins with a short hike up to Grábrók, a volcano crater. Stop at Deildartunguhver hot spring, the legendary waterfall, Barnafoss, (the Children´s Waterfall), and the Hraunfossar cascade. You'll also visit Reykholt, home to Snorri Sturluson, the Icelandic historian, lawyer, politician, poet, and the author of some Icelandic Sagas. On the way back to Reykjavik you'll drive around the scenic fjord, Hvalfjörður (Whale Fjord).

The journey continues eastward to Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon & the nearby Diamond Beach. You'll finish the day in Höfn. Day 3 Start the day with breakfast and a visit to the fishing village of Djúpivogur. Afterward, have lunch in Egilsstaðir. In summer, you’ll head to Borgarfjörður Eystri, home to puffin colonies. In winter, you'll explore East Iceland's fishing villages. In the afternoon, relax in the soothing Vök Geothermal Baths (incl. in the Deluxe Tour), then check into your hotel in Egilsstaðir. Day 4 Following breakfast, begin your day at the stunning Stuðlagil Canyon, famous for its striking basalt columns. Witness the immense power of Europe’s mightiest waterfall, Dettifoss, as its thundering waters cascade into a deep canyon. Continue to the Námaskarð geothermal area. Later, visit Borgarvirki, an ancient volcanic plug used as a fortress during Iceland’s Viking era. Proceed to Hvítserkur, a unique rock formation rising from the sea, and explore Kolugljúfur, a canyon named after the giantess Kola. You'll spend the night at Laugarbakki. Day 6 Start your final day with breakfast, then hike to the top of Grábrók, a famous volcanic crater. Continue to the beautiful Hraunfossar waterfalls, where water cascades through ancient lava fields. Visit an Icelandic horse farm to learn about the cultural significance and charm of these unique horses. Make a stop at Deildartunguhver, Europe's most powerful hot spring, before returning to Reykjavík where you'll spend the last night of the tour. Now that you’re well-rested and ready to take on another day, the second day of this South Coast tour takes you to see some remarkable natural wonders. After the Ice Cave, we have additional stops at Eldhraun Lava Fields and the Bridge of the Volcanoes. These stops may change based on time permitting and weather conditions. Next, you will visit the famous Diamond Beach, only a short drive from Jokulsarlon. This black sand beach got its name from the numerous chunks of ice scattered across the sand, which sparkle like diamonds when the sunlight hits them. On our way back to Reykjavik we may stop in Vik if time permits, so explore a little more of the main village in the South Coast. The minimum age for participants is eight years. Despite its stunning scenery, sparkling lakes, and traditional farms, this area is often overlooked. Known for its sunny summers and mystical winter fog, it's the only region in Iceland where wild reindeer roam freely, remnants of a failed farming experiment. ‍ Day 5: Glacier Lagoon & South Coast We leave Höfn and drive along Iceland's southeast coast, stopping first at Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon for an amphibian boat tour. Below the Lagoon, ice shards wash up on Breiðamerkursandur, known as Diamond Beach. Continuing through Vatnajökull National Park, we visit Skaftafell, a green oasis at the foot of the Öræfajökull glacier. We then pass the lava fields of Eldhraun, the Mýrdalssandur outwash plain, and visit Reynisfjara's black sand beach. Finally, we stop at the waterfalls Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss, where you can walk behind the cascade. Day 6: Golden Circle Today, we tour the renowned Golden Circle, starting with the majestic Gullfoss Waterfall. Next, we visit the Geysir hot spring area, where Strokkur erupts every few minutes. We then explore Þingvellir National Park, where the North American and European tectonic plates meet, and where the ancient Icelandic parliament, Alþingi, was established in 930.
