This was a really enjoyable day out. It was a fun and easy walk around the Hobbiton set in beautiful, peaceful country surroundings. The guide brought the set to life with lots of interesting stories from the making of the movies. There was even an opportunity for fans to re-enact an iconic scene from the Lord of the Rings.

Always the top of my bucket list to visit and see Hobbiton. I am a big fan of all of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. I enjoyed the tour so much and our guide was awesome. It was fun learning the different behind the scenes facts and how they made the magic come alive. I’m really happy they kept it around after filming. I do with they had let us take a picture in Bag End but I also understand wanting to preserve the set. It was really amazing all in all.

Had so much fun wandering through Hobbiton. The setting was exquisite, beautiful lake, lush pastures & stunning gardens framed the wonderfully detailed Hobbit homes. A delight to share with our grandchildren, who have read the books & watched the movies. This was an awesome experience, great range of merchandise at the shop & reasonably priced tasty food at the cafe afterwards. A five star experience.
