Our whole family loved the Hobbiton experience. An idyllic setting, professionally run and wonderful staff combined to make this a special day for us all. The team work well together to keep things running smoothly and we even met a couple of the gardeners. The setting is magical and well maintained.

it was a big operation, the non-kiwi tourists were rather rude to the local people, disrespectful as my son is partially blind and uses a cane and they just did not give him space, stepped out in front of him and this made our day rather stressful, you need to make more provisions for those with disabilities, we could not hear the video down the back of the bus and missed the introduction video It would be great if you looked after New Zealanders as well as you do tourists

All the staff were friendly and helpful. Our tour guide Sarah was great with lots of info about the film set and also plenty of jokes. There was time to take photos and we stopped at The Green Dragon for a drink before heading back to the bus. Also recommend getting lunch afterwards at the cafe
