  • See the machinery and weapons of war at the War Remnants Museum
Overview
Journey back in time to the years of the Vietnam War on a visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels and the War Remnants Museum. Learn about the struggle of the Vietnamese who lived underground during that time, and see the weapons and equipment of war at the museum.
What to Expect
See how the Vietnamese lived and fought during the Vietnam War on a full-day visit to the Cu Chi Tunnels, located around 70 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh City.

The tunnels are actually an underground fort, stretching for 200 kilometers, and were made with the use of simple tools. You’ll have the chance to enter the tunnels and also to shoot guns at the site.

After exploring the tunnels, you’ll return to Ho Chi Minh city to visit the War Remnants Museum. At the museum you’ll see the weapons, equipment, and machinery used during the war, and get a perspective of the struggle from a Vietnamese point of view.

There are 2 Cu Chi Tunnels that are open to tourists. Ben Dinh is closer and shorter and is the tunnel that most tour operators feature. The Ben Duoc tunnel is farther away and larger, and there is more to see.

If you are particularly interested in the Vietnam War, Ben Duoc is the better choice. There is an additional fee to visit Ben Duoc (USD 25.00 per group of up to 4 persons, and USD 30.00 per group of 5 or more.
