This tour is a perfect combination of sightseeing and history when we take you to discover the modern city Saigon and learn about the historical site Cu Chi Tunnels.
What to Expect
Your trip will start at 8:00 am by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office and the Reunification Palace. Surrounded by Royal Palm trees, the dissonant 1960s architecture of this government building and the eerie mood that accompanies a walk through its deserted halls make this visit an intriguing spectacle. Later, you visit the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum.
In the afternoon, you will depart to Cu Chi, located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City. Cu Chi is now a popular spot for both Vietnamese and foreign tourists interested by the network of over 200km of tunnels which played a vital role in the War.
Before entering the tunnels, visitors can watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. You will spend the next hour exploring the tunnels. Afterwards, enjoy tea, cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war) before returning to Saigon at about 6:30 pm.
