From Ho Chi Minh: Cu Chi Tunnels and VIP Speedboat Tour

This was a great and seamless experience with Les Rives! My boyfriend and I got picked up exactly on time from our hotel with their van and dropped off at the boat tour area. That took about 10-12 min. The speedboat went well. I usually get motion sickness so I took Dramamine and had a motion sickness patch behind the ear - no problems. The boat ride took 1 hour 10 min. Tasty authentic Vietnamese lunch was included once we got to the Cu Chi site. Anna led the tour and she was great. She speaks English very well and accounted for everyone and their needs. The tour of the Viet Cong tunnels were both sad and impressive. Downside, the guns are fixated, so when shooting them you cannot move them. Then we headed back to the city on the same boat. Overall, Anna and her team did a great job. Highly recommended tour company!

The experience was fantastic from the time we booked the tour and was even better throughout the tour itself. Communication prior to the tour was clear and timely. Our tour guide Nguyen was nothing short of wonderful, as were his colleagues who drove the bus, boat and served refreshments and meals. Nguyen was extremely personable and engaging and in sharing his knowledge ensured the tour was very interactive. We chose the morning tour which allowed us to be the first your group arriving at the tunnels for the day. This provided great photo opportunities before other tour groups arrived. The tour was managed at a relaxed pace which was great. Lunch was excellent and comfortable. Given the humid nature of Vietnam, travelling to and from the tunnels via speedboat made for a very refreshing, relaxing, and scenic trip. Overall we could not have asked for a better experience and would not hesitate to do it again. Very worthwhile, well organised and delivered by a fantastic guide.
