Both Robert and Jess were wonderful! The knowledge that these two possess about the land, the stars and great places to have breakfast. Just you weren’t kidding about the pancakes they were monsters! Thank you for the tour it was monumental especially when Robert spotted the volcano glow in the sky. We did go down that night to see the volcano fortunately for us because the next morning it ceased interrupting.
The summit of Mauna Kea is awesome, especially at sunset. After sunset the stargazing is incredible. James and Mitch were great guides. I felt safe at all times as you need to take a 4 wheel drive vehicle to reach the summit. Our guide's knowledge of the night sky was superb. They were able to point out plants, stars, constellations, etc. I highly recommend this excursion.
The tour was very well organized and a truly unique experience. Our guide Mitch was a real plus point on this tour. For us it was worth every cent and we can only warmly recommend the tour! We also received the photos that were taken during the tour very quickly and they are a great souvenir of this trip.
Best tour on the island hands down! Mia was AMAZING and very knowledgeable, we loved every second of it!
