Hierapolis

The excursion went well, very tourist style. We stopped mid-morning at a workshop where they work on Onyx stone (it was a tourist trap, the prices in the shop were very expensive and we didn't buy anything). The visit to Pamukkale itself was very good, the guide, Apo, gave a brief explanation and gave us historical context. It was worth it. Finally we went to eat, which disappointed me a lot... it looked like a school cafeteria, it was shabby, the trays where the food was weren't clean, the food was rather poor and unappetizing. The restaurant doesn't even appear on Google Maps. I feel bad saying this, but it was the worst meal I've had in 15 days in Turkey. I hope they change their partner restaurant in the future.
