The crew of the Tasman Venturer made this experience truely special, plenty of whales to see and an explanation of behaviours enhanced the experience. We were collected from our accommodation & dropped back afterwards, made it a wonderful stress free outing. A delicious afternoon tea & cheese & crackers as we travelled back to port was welcomed. The crew were so friendly & answering any questions we had was most helpful. The stars of the show were the humpback whales lots of females with calves, some very young lots of variety we got some great photos, very happy with our experience

Whale watching today was incredible, we had still waters and beautiful weather. A quick trip out on the western side of Fraser Island and our first whale was Spotted , then before long we were watching 2 pods - 1 with 3 whales and 1 with 2 whales. They swam close by , Close the boat and we were able to get many photos. Highway recommend this trip.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Skipper kept boat moving to ensure best view of whales. Marine biologist explained all the antics and movements of the mum and calf and male escort and male rival. Saw about 60 breaches. Many fin slaps and tale flukes. Mum showing calf how to carry out different movements. Saw multiple pods. Great morning and afternoon tea provided. Thank you. My brother is now going to do this trip later in the week.
