Don’t hesitate, book this activity. We’re currently travelling round the east coast of Australia and this was an experience that far exceeded our expectations. We thought if we were lucky we’d get one or maybe 2 whales but we saw 3 pods and lots of whales breaching which absolutely takes your breath away. There was a lot of wind and rain but we had an email in the morning telling us how to prepare like taking travel sickness tablets and wearing waterproof clothes which was very helpful. They did give the option to choose another day if we didn’t want the bumpy ride - we chose to continue but was great that you were given the option. The guide and captain of the boat were so knowledgeable and very friendly - it was great to see K’gari island too which was an unexpected surprise! In summary - what an amazing day! Once in a lifetime experience ❤️🐳

Know before you go
- Whale sightings are guaranteed between July 15th and October 9th
- The activity provider has committed to the highest sanitation standards and routinely cleans their vessels throughout the trip. Staff will routinely remind guests to use the sanitizer stations and wash hands frequently even during sightseeing and wildlife viewing.
- Seats are pre-assigned. Please remain in your assigned section whilst the vessel is moving at speed.
