Start your getaway in style, with a pre-night stay at Kingfisher Bay Resort. Choose from triple, double, and single room options. Relax on the island and enjoy full access to the resort facilities while preparing for your 3-day tour.


Led by a guide, hit the sand tracks in a custom-made 4WD coach. Enjoy time exploring both coasts of the world’s largest sand island on this eco-adventure. Tick off all the favorite K'gari locations, including the crystal-clear Lake McKenzie, and the towering rainforest of Pile Valley.


Spend your second night in K'gari Beach Resort, with a deck and kitchenette all to yourself. Enjoy breakfast at the resort in the morning, and head out on another day of island exploration.


During your 4WD coach tour, in addition to the most coveted sites, uncover some of the destination's lesser-known but equally spectacular spots, such as the hidden oasis of Lake Wabby and Hammerstone Sandblow.

Meeting point

On the day of arrival, you will be required to check in at our Kingfisher Bay Mainland Reception office (54 Ariadne Street, River Heads - Hervey Bay) 30 minutes prior to your departure. The 3.30pm ferry service has been booked for you. Should you wish to travel on an earlier ferry or require a transfer from Hervey Bay accommodation please contact our reservations team at least 48 hours prior to your arrival. Operator office hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST).
