Discover Hermanus, one of the best destinations for watching marine mammals, on a boat trip with a whale specialist guide. Sail to areas that receive seasonal visits from southern right and humpback whales along with year-round sightings of Bryde’s whales and dolphins. Enjoy refreshments onboard. Sail on a purpose-built catamaran ensures maximum passenger comfort and spectacular viewing opportunities. During the tour, the crew is on hand to make sure everyone has a great experience, from helping get the perfect photo to serving complimentary light refreshments. The guide, a whale specialist, will interpret the marine life encountered en route and provide insight into the behavior of the whales while the action is taking place. The expert videographer will ensure the best footage is captured.

  • Camera (tripods and binoculars are not advised)
  • Children Policy:
  • All ages welcome. All children under 12 must wear life jackets for the full duration on-board, and be under adult supervision at all times.
  • The life jacket condition applies as well to infants. For children under 2 years old, they can be very uncomfortable. We would strongly advise motion sickness syrup for infants.
  • No prams are allowed on board.

Tolle Erfahrung und auch der 2te Ablauf hat sich gelohnt. Leider wurde unserer erste gebuchte Tour auf Grund von starkem Wind abgesagt. Wir standen dann per WhatsApp in Kontakt mit dem Team und haben versucht einen neuen Termin zu finden der auch in unsere Reisepläne passt. Der zweite Anlauf hat geklappt und die Tour war wirklich toll. Wir haben Pinguine, Robben und 6 Walpaare (Mutter + Kalb) gesehen. Die Wale schwammen zum Teil sehr neugierig ans Boot. Wirkich ist eine tolle Erfahrung. Auch das Drohnenvideo das man am Ende der 2stündigen Tour kaufen kann ist sehr schön. Einige Besucher wurden auf Grund des doch ordentlichen Wellengangs leider sehr seekrank. Die Crew hat sich aber gut. Wenn man weiß dass man da evtl empfindlich ist, dann sollte man vorher etwas dagegen nehmen. Kann die Tour weiterempfehlen und würde sie selbst auch wieder machen!

Wir haben sehr viele Wale gesehen, und es war ein spektakuläres Abenteuer und auch die Kinder waren super zufrieden. Die ganze Besatzung, einschließlich dem Guide waren mit vollem Einsatz dabei. Zum krönenden Abschluss haben wir noch zweimal einen akrobatischen Sprung eines Wales gesehen. Insgesamt ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Amazing! the guide was informative and helpful. the boarding and waiting area were nice. We got to see 3 different whales and dolphins and seals! not sure how regular it is to see all of these in one trip, maybe we got lucky? but it was worth every dollar spent.
