Before boarding the sailboat, take in the stunning view of the ancient fortress. The journey to Dia Island takes about an hour, depending on the weather. Most often, conditions allows us to raise our sails and use the power of wind. Along the way, keep an eye out for playful dolphins while listening to captivating tales about the island’s history and legends. Feel free to join in on the sailing activities if you’d like! Upon arrival at Dia Island, enjoy plenty of free time to explore its crystal-clear waters. Go snorkeling, try paddleboarding, fish, or take a scenic hike. Alternatively, relax on deck with a refreshing drink. Once you’ve had time to explore, indulge in a delicious Mediterranean meal featuring fresh salads, savory appetizers, and plenty of flavors to enjoy. Pair your meal with wine or soft drinks. After lunch, take some time to swim and enjoy fresh fruit paired with a glass of traditional raki. As your day comes to a close, sail back to Heraklion, and if you're on the afternoon tour, soak in the stunning sunset views. Ferry Check-In: At Heraklion Port, present your GYG ticket and the additional ticket emailed to you. Be there at least 30 minutes before the trip begins by 07:30 am. You will receive your extra ticket the day before. You will collect your ferry tickets and Santorini tour bus number at the designated kiosk. Fast Ferry to Santorini: Departs at 8:00 AM the ferry takes 2 hours to reach Athinios Port in Santorini. Enjoy comfortable standard seating (pre-assigned) and an onboard snack bar with various food and drink options.
