Board a high-speed vessel with an open deck and coffee bars and enjoy a nice ferry cruise from Heraklion to the island of Santorini (Duration: approximately 2 hours). Upon arrival in Santorini, you will be transferred from the port to the magnificent village of Oia in the north. During the transfer, an experienced guide on the bus will share many interesting facts about Santorini, its history, features, and secrets. In Oia, you will have approximately 2 hours of free time to visit picturesque spots and viewpoints and enjoy breathtaking views. The town of Oia is famous worldwide for its iconic panoramic views, Cycladic architecture with white houses and churches with blue domes. After Oia, the tour continues to the capital of Santorini - the town of Fira. Fira is just as beautiful as Oia, with breathtaking views of the sea and Caldera from its streets. You can visit the big Orthodox Cathedral on the main square in the center of Fira and walk through the city. Fira is full of interesting and picturesque spots and corners. You will have almost 1.5 hours there to explore on your own. The tour will end with a transfer to the Santorini port, where you will take a return trip to Crete. The day trip ends at the port of Heraklion or at your hotel area if you select the option that includes hotel transfer.

Santorini tour from Heraklion Port in Crete. It includes a fast ferry cruise, optional bus transfer in Crete, bus transfer in Santorini, and guided tours of Oia and Fira towns. We use only the best, most reliable, insured boat and bus companies on the island. If you select the transfer option, our air-conditioned bus will pick you up in the morning. The bus will take you to Crete’s Heraklion Port. Our driver will give you a return ticket with the number of the bus in Crete. Regardless if you choose the transfer option or the no transfer option at Heraklion port you will give your GYG ticket and the extra ticket we will email you 24 hours prior to departure and you will receive the ferry tickets and the Santorini tour bus number at the designated ticket kiosk. After that you will board on a "Fast Ferry Boat." The ferry to Santorini departs at 08:00 am. It takes 2 hours and 15 minutes across the Aegean Sea to reach Santorini's Athinios port. The ferry has a snack bar where you can find lots of different foods and drinks to choose from. By booking this tour to Santorini you also book seats on the ferry. Your seat is written on the ferry tickets. Your tour guide will meet you outside the boat and escort you to the tour bus. With this the six hours bus tour begins. Our first visit is Oia village. Oia town is situated on the north tip of the island of Santorini. It is well known for its views, and the white-washed buildings with blue roofs. Oia is perfect for instagram settings. We will spend around two hours in Oia. After our visit to Oia, our bus will take us to Fira Town. It is a short drive of twenty to thirty minutes. After our drive we will reach the town of Fira. The capital of Santorini. It is situated on top of a dramatic 300m cliff that overlooks the Aegean sea. The town is known for its sunsets and stunning vistas. It enchants visitors with its iconic whitewashed buildings adorned with vibrant domes and cascading bougainvillaeas. You can go through its narrow streets to uncover charming cafes, shops, and traditional taverns serving Greek food. There are many things to do. You may do some shopping, take photographs or have some lunch. We will spend two hours here. During the high season we offer an optional (extra cost) cruise with a wooden boat to the volcano of Santorini. It is optional because it lasts about one and a half hours. This time is lost from your stay at Fira. Ask your tour guide if it is available when you first meet him. After our two hour visit we will board our coach and return to Athinios Port. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the port. There we will board our ferry for the journey back. At Heraklion port our bus will wait for you to take you back to your hotel. You will also receive an emergency number. You may use it in case you forgot your meeting point, lost your bus, or for any other reason. Also if you are planning to stay the night, we arrange a pick up the next day from either Fira or Oia towns.

Join a city cruise from Heraklion to the protected island of Dia. Meet the captain and crew and undergo a safety briefing before setting sail for Dia. Upon arrival at the uninhabited island off the northern coast of Crete, choose from an array of activities such as snorkelling, SUP paddling, fishing, and sunbathing, with all gear and swimming accessories available on board. Our crew will meet you at the Old Venetian port and welcome you on board, where you will be given a briefing about safety and boat handling. We set our sails and we are off to our destination, Dia island. Dia is an uninhabited island, 7 nautical miles north of Heraklion and is protected by the Natura 2000 project because of its biodiversity. Our trip there lasts almost one hour, during which you can enjoy the beauty of the sea, the silence and calmness and get informed on eco sailing and marine life around Crete or participate in the sailing activities with our skilled skipper! First stop is Agrilia Bay, one of the remote beaches of the island where we can avoid the crowds. As we approach you can smell the wild oregano from aboard! You have the chance to enjoy your first swim, snorkel or relax with a cool refreshment and fresh fruit for about an hour. We continue to Panagia cove, a bay with green, crystal waters. The island is a very important refuge for native plants and animals with very small dispersion in the southern Aegean and one of the most important areas were falcons nest. This is also the place where we might spot a Kri Kri! Ask us on anything you want to know about this beautiful spot in the sea! Last stop is Agios Georgios, one of the most popular crystal clear beaches on the island. A small history fact, is that this well-protected cove was one of the major Minoan ports, according to Jacques-Yves Cousteau who discovered some of its remains in 1976. As the waters call to you for another dive our skipper and host will be preparing a delicious lunch for you made exclusively from fresh and local ingredients. We still have plenty of time for another refreshing dive! After this delicious lunch, we set sails again to return back to Heraklion Venetian port. Turn your eyes to the sea as we may spot some of our lovely mammal friends, the dolphins.
