Incredible, but not a walk in the park! Keep in mind that: - Over the 16.7 km, your knees will be under constant strain. There are only a few meters where the ground is a little flatter and earthier. Most of the trail is rocky, either uneven and unstable or smooth and slippery, with almost continuous ascents and descents. - The activity may be accessible to children, but only if they are used to this type of physical effort. - Suitable equipment (especially shoes) is absolutely necessary. - There is no possibility of leaving the hike unless you turn back or call for help. Departure from Gouves at 5:45 a.m., return around 10:15 p.m. The journey was very comfortable, with well-timed breaks. The guide was great and not at all pushy with those at the back. The park rangers were friendly and attentive to the well-being of the walkers. There were regular squat toilets. The driver was truly incredible!

We were the only boat at the island, which I thought was great! You definitely need water shoes/flip-flops on the island (hot sand, sharp rocks, and small cacti that you can step on). Otherwise, the trip was awesome :)

The mountain spring and the fact that you could drink it... the huge gorge with the large rocks. Also, the cute little town where we took the boat. The ferry crossing, which was wonderfully air-conditioned.

A beautiful uninhabited island with marvellous turquoise water, just 1 hour away from Ierapetra. Helena was a perfect guide and hostess, very kind and attentive.

Everything was perfect and Dimitris, the driver, was truly exceptional. Thank you.
