    Well organised trip. Very good guide on the bus, had some interesting things to say on the way there about the scenery and other fun facts. Spoke very good English. Made sure to get the admission tickets for the party , so we didn’t have to wait in line. There was another guide at Knossos, who really knew what he was talking about, and gave a whole other perspective to the place, other than just seeing the ruins. The only thing is, that we didn’t have that long to see Knossos. But there’s just not enough hours in the day to do it all Afterwards went to the museum in Heraklion. And had som spare time in the city. All in all absolutely worth the trip and time. Would recommend this trip.

    Knossos Palace & the Museum at Heraklion Very Interesting

    The Palace and Museum were worth the visit, Heraklion itself is full of shops and restaurants, I am sure it has many other places of interest but after visiting the museum and getting something to eat we had no time to explore it further. It’s a long day out, half of it is spent travelling on a coach there and back with a stop for a drink and snacks each way although we weren’t very impressed with the choice of cafe or the coffee. In hindsight we would have hired a car but understand why some people prefer to travel by coach/do a tour.

    Nicky our guide was excellent. The pace of the visit was just right. Her level of knowledge was superb and she made it come alive for us. She gave us the right amount of information and was always willing to answer questions. The tour was very well organised. My only disappointment is that there were many people and the small bus was virtually full so no possibility of social distancing.

    The trip was very interesting and the guide in Knossos was knowledgeable. However, there was no free time to walk around. The Heraklion museum contributed to our understanding of the ancient civilisation, and we had some time to walk in the old city (instead of going to a restaurant chosen by the guide). The coffee where the bus stopped for a break in both ways was horrible.

    This activity was excellent. Manolos, the specialist guide at Knossos palace gave us clear and plentiful information. The site in itself is amazing. The tour was very well organised and we managed to visit the archeological museum in Heraclion to complete our trip. I strongly recommend this activity to anyone visiting Crete.
