Sula was an excellent guide with a vast knowledge of archaeology. She used her experience with the Knossos site to ensure that we didn;t stand in queues any longer than we needed to. The 2 hours at this site did not drag at all and was very interesting. Heraklion itself does not have a lot of historical sites as it was destroyed during an earthquake, however what was there, was well explained and there was then time to do your own thing before returning to the bus.

Our tour guide Eleni was brilliant and her English tour of Knossos and Heraklion was so interesting. We really enjoyed the Archaeological Museum and would recommend buying the combined ticket for €20. Picked up and dropped off as stated. Had 3 hours free time in Heraklion so had time for a coffee, lunch and the museum.
