It was a nice trip with Elisabetta, our amazing tour guide! I was picked up from the hotel on time and brought back to the hotel. Elafonisi is an absolute dream and was my personal highlight in Crete vacation. I only wish we had more than 4.5 hours at the beach. The journey is of course exhausting and lengthy, but in the end you will be rewarded with paradise on earth.

We are staying in Malia, the bus picked us up 400 meters from our hotel, well organized tour, our very kind and competent guide, the friendly and helpful driver. The departure from Malia is Peró a journey of hope, departure before 5.30 and return at 21. The lagoon is a paradise, the journey is worth it, But it is really tiring, the travel time is more than that of staying in beach (you stay 4.5 hours, the trip lasts 9 hours in total). I recommend it anyway, as long as there are no too small children. I recommend that you bring an umbrella because when the tour buses arrive, the bathrooms are already full! And if it's not windy it's incredibly hot!

The pickup was good and on time. 20 minute break on the way to Elafonisi and Back. The beach is very nice, but its so many people there. You can only enjoy when you go far away from people. Someone should make better system for maximum number of people in one time at that beach Because Its Really difficult to Enjoy when so many people. And also forgot about sunbed with unbrella If you arrive after 11 clock, Wich our bus did.
