This is a top quality experience and one I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Crete! George is a friendly, knowledgeable, charismatic, and fun tour guide. It was clear throughout our day that George cares deeply about highlighting local Cretan producers, products, and experiences, connecting guests with the island. The day was thoughtfully planned and we not only had a great time, but now hold a very special place in our hearts for Crete, its people, and of course….olive oil, raki and wine! My husband and I booked this based on recommendations from others and I am so glad we did. Pickup at our hotel was a breeze. Each stop was well worth our time and money. We had a few opportunities to purchase from local sellers during the tour. Although many take credit card, the day we went the internet for processing was down at many due to a recent storm, so I highly recommend bringing cash just in case. Wish we had!! Great from start to finish and I cannot thank George enough!

Full description
Stop at a local olive mill and take a tour of the olive grove and after the olive mill where you can taste fresh olive oil. The second stop is a family-owned winery that uses organic methods for cultivating. You will get a tour around the vineyards and the winery and taste 5 wines.
The next stop is a unique distillery with an ancient wine press. Raki is the most famous Cretan spirit. Take a tour of the distillery and then enjoy a traditional lunch at a local tavern. Before finishing off the tour with a visit to a pottery studio located in a traditional village that is famous for its pottery.
*The pottery lab is not available on Sundays
