From Helsinki: Ferry Ride to Suomenlinna & Walking Tour

Our company brings you to the fortress island of Suomenlinna which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the number 1 must-see tourist attraction of Finland with its historical sea fortress and lovely museums and restaurants.

This ticket includes a guided walking tour by an authorised guide. The tour in a small group in English takes you around the fortress islands through the centuries, presenting the main sights and the key events in the history of the fortress, offering interesting perspectives on the Finnish history and history of Northern Europe. The duration of the ferry ride is about 20-25 minutes. The duration of the tour is about 1 hour. After the tour you can explore the island at your own pace and/or head back to the Market Square with the next ferry. Departure frequency of 30 minutes.

Vessels leave from Helsinki Market Square, "Keisariluodonlaituri"-pier (which is next to the Korkeasaari zoo pier). Watch out for FRS Finland signs. Enjoy a cup of coffee or a cold beer on our sun deck and let yourself be pampered by our friendly staff. The museum where the tour starts is right next to the pier at the island. You will meet your guide there. Only our vessels bring you right next to the museum without long walking distances.
