It was good to get out on the water and see the city and its environs from a different perspective. Good job that the seats on deck were fold up so that when the rain stopped we could sit out and not get wet! Found it useful to read the pdf commentary sheet while we were waiting (download from QR code on board) as it was sometimes not easy to hear the commentary.

The translation of canal needs revising. It was an archipelago tour really. However, it was wonderful and we were soooo lucky with the weather.

On this boat ride you’ll also hear about Helsinki’s fascinating history from commentary that’s provided during the cruise. There will also be information booklets available in 8 other languages.
Purchase a refreshing drink, a beer, a glass of sparkling wine, or a cup of coffee, or a pastry in the boat’s cafeteria to enjoy during the cruise. Cinnamon buns and meat pies from Eromanga, the beloved local home bakery, are available at the ship’s café.
