The trip from Helsinki to Suomenlinna Island by small ferry with a stop at Lonna Island took about 30 minutes. Suomenlinna Island has a well-preserved fortress, several museums, including a museum in an old submarine, a cafe in a picturesque place. The nature and views on the island are stunning! Ferries to the island leave from the pier at the market square, they go frequently, until late in the evening.

Really great trip, definitely worth it if you have a bit of time in Helsinki. I really liked the nature and I couldn't stop marveling at the southern part in particular - perfect for picnics and just enjoying the sun. You get a great view of the sunset! That was my favorite activity in Helsinki. The 2 stops mean you don't have to walk across the whole island again at the end - great solution.

It was a lovely afternoon on the ferry to Lonna Island. Enjoyed the calm ride to and from Helsinki Marketplace Pier. FHS ferry is a lot less riders than the other local ferry, which is quite packed with people. Recommends!

Beautiful cruise in the Helsinki archipelago with 2 hours and 30 minutes by boat! The cruise was very romantic with the islands and unspoiled nature and very beautiful houses! I would definitely do it again..

A wonderful, peaceful way to see the stunning and enormous archipelago. Especially recommended the evening cruise if the weather is good, the sunset was spectacular.
