Beer tasting

Only thought there was one type of Heineken out there? You thought wrong! Enjoy trying out a few different homegrown varieties here in Amsterdam.

Draft your own

If you've fancied yourself a pint-puller, now's your chance to prove your skills. Alternatively, if you've got a shaky hand, the Heineken bartenders will be happy to pour you one.

Bottle Ride

The ride demonstrates the life cycle of a Heineken bottle and the star of the show is you! Tip: don't wear clothes that don't dry off easily.

You may be surprised to learn that by the end of WWII, Heineken had taken over the entire Dutch beer market and there was an anarchist boycott movement against it in the 1980s!

The James Bond Room

Heineken has even extended its influence to the movies. There's a whole exhibition room about the link between James Bond and Heineken, including authentic props from the movies!

canal trip was fab and bus was very useful for getting around

We had a great time and found the canal trip very useful for accessing museums etc. Just loved the bus for its commentary and interesting sights, i would definitiely recommended this service - especially for first time visitors - a great way to see a new place on limited time and budget!!!

A great way of getting an overview of Amsterdam!

Very friendly staff, especially the boat driver who took us to places off his normal route and was full of interesting facts about a city which he obviously loved.

Relaxing fun thing to do, and you see a lot including other boats.

The canal tour is fun, and can be done in sun or rain. Most of boat is covered by glass roof and it also has a small open air area. Relaxing, enjoyable, and you see a lot of things from the canal. Lots of other boats are there too.

Everything went smoothly, it was exactly as advertised

The boat tour is 75 minutes long and the Heineken tour is about 2 hours. Both were very informative and I'd recommend them to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Informative & interactive - at your own pace.

After the initial problems with entering the Heineken experience, we really enjoyed walking through at our own pace. There is a lot of information and interactive things to do. The place is very busy but we were still able to do and see everything.
