Full description
Discover Heidelberg, the city of romance, and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of the Old Town. In just 2 hours you’ll see all the historical landmarks in the city. Get information and insider tips that you won’t find in any guide book – especially tailored to your interests. Stroll along one of the longest pedestrian zones in Germany straight through the picturesque Old Town, and admire the stunning Baroque architecture that remained largely unaffected by the two world wars. See the beautiful Alte Brücke, which is 230 years old and named after its founder, Prince Karl Theodor. This bridge used to be the only connection point between Frankfurt and Basel. Together with the castle and the River Neckar, it is one of the main landmarks of the city. You can also admire the Church of the Holy Spirit in Gothic and Baroque style, which once housed a collection of valuable documents and was originally built as a tomb of the Palatinate electors.

My wife and I had a very personal city tour with Ms. Olga Speck (there were three of them) and were able to benefit from the city guide's extensive knowledge. We can only recommend everyone to request Ms. Speck, as she is incredibly nice, very experienced in the city and very knowledgeable in the relevant subject areas such as history and art.

Highly Recommended

We had a 2-hour tour of the old town in Heidelberg with Olga. We are completely enthusiastic about their wealth of knowledge about German history (not limited to Heidelberg). Yes, Olga has a Russian accent, so she emphasizes one or the other German word differently, but we also have a mouth and can ask if we don't understand something. And Olga is happy to answer all questions with pleasure! We would always choose Olga to get a city tour. Thanks again for 2 very interesting hours!

Detailed, informative, friendly, pleasant.

The tour by Ms. Olga Speck was very pleasant. It got our attention, showed us vivid, tangible history and filled the whole with anecdotes from and about celebrities. It quickly loosened up the atmosphere and was safe in historical data. We thank you again in this way and can only recommend this guide.
