I booked an airport lounge because there was a 3 hour wait before my ongoing flight with another airline. Unfortunately I had to wait so long for my luggage at Heathrow then change terminals then check in and negotiate security that by the time I actually entered the airport lounge it was hardly the worthwhile and relaxing experience anticipated. The food was adequate and of good quality but by the time I actually sat down to enjoy it my flight was being called to the departure gate. I’ve booked airport lounges in other countries before and enjoyed the food and atmosphere but unfortunately I would hesitate to book a lounge at Heathrow Airport due to the several delays make it not worthwhile.

I love booking the lounge before a holiday, taking the stress out of trying to find somewhere to eat and drink then having nowhere to sit. I particularly loved the Heathrow lounge in comparison to other ones I’ve been to at other airports. The chairs are big and comfy, lots of plugs to charge your phone and the food and drink choice is excellent. It’s really good value for money and I’d definitely use it every time I fly from Heathrow.

It was a good experience. The reason I’ve not given it excellent is due to the fact there weren’t enough relaxed seats. Whereas my friends and I found a comfy sofa/chair there still weren’t enough for others and it was busy. The food was nice and there was a good choice. One more main meat dish would have been nice.
