Moholoholo is a wildlife center which contributes to the conservation of endangered species and undertakes the rehabilitation of injured, orphaned and poisoned wild animals and birds. Creatures which cannot be released back into the wild will receive a permanent home at Moholoholo, and you as guests will be taken to the center for an interactive experience with these animals. From Moholoholo you will visit the Hoedspruit Endangered Species Centre at Kapama Game Reserve. The HESC runs a successful breeding programme for several endangered and vulnerable species. Following an introductory presentation, guests are taken in an open vehicle for a tour of the centre. Moving between the various enclosures, guests can view (and learn more about) cheetahs, wild dogs, black-footed cats, African Wild Cats, ground horn bills, sable antelope and others. You will learn about the history of this center and how it contributes to and works with the local ecosystem on an eye opening tour of this unique rehabilitation center.
