Head out east to witness the wild beauty of Lake Sevan, a Ramsar site situated at 1900 m above sea level. Surrounded by a chain of mountains, it is often described as the jewel of Armenia. Next, visit Hayravank Monastery, a medieval-era architecture that overlooks the lake from the south.
