We had an amazing time on this trip. Every part of it was really cool. Our guide, Rob, was the best. We learned so much about the island’s history, culture, current issues, and interesting facts. The whole trip was very comfortable with just the right amount of bathroom stops, snacks, water, yummy food. We never felt rushed. And we saw the most epic views of Kīlauea’s bubbling lava with millions of stars and the Milky Way. It was remarkable.

The narrative was great and the points of interest an excellent mix. This experience is a long day but worth it. We had trouble starting at the starting point as there was nowhere to park so we could get the app / navigation going so we ended up missing the first 12 narrations but it was ok as they were mostly navigation.

The vehicle was on time to pick us up. The driver was friendly, courteous and informative. The experience was wonderful and well worth the views. We were given a certain time to be back at our vehicle which allowed us enough time to hike up, view, then hike back. Our drive back was perfect. A fantastic experience.

Very nice and educational…. Cousin Dave our tour guide made it more fun and exciting… he is very kind and considerate becoz I was with my husband who is confined in power wheelchair….

Wes was awesome. Such a funny, great dude. And a great tour guide. Mahalo!
